Jon Smith, Paradise California

Jon is a conservation minded hunter who culls invasive and overpopulated species that are destructive to the environment and disrupt the balance in the competition for forest resources.  Pictured here is Jon with a wild boar shot in Paskenta California.  The boar was shot on the run, using a custom built Savage .338 at a distance of 867 meters with a 16.6 foot bullet drop.  The boar weighed 280 pounds gutted, and was estimated to weigh 320 pounds in the field.
